• ecosavr works by slowly releasing the chemical iso
propyl alchohol, which rises to the surface creating a thin
protective barrier.
• just cut along the dotted black line indicated and drop "eco" into
your pool. ecosavr™ has been designed to sink to the bottom of the
pool. A patented release valve in the top fin of ecosavr™ slowly
releases the liquid into your pool.
• the ecosavr molecules self spread, covering the entire water
surface. the molecules link together in all directions to form a
barrier. If the ecosavr barrier is disturbed or broken by splashing
it will reform back into a surface layer when the water settles.
• each ecosavr fish contains enough liquid for a standard home pool
of approximately 35 square meters of surface area. the measured
amount in each ecosavr™ lasts about one month. bigger surfaces will
require 2 ecosavr's. replace the ecosavr when the liquid in the fish
turns clear.
the science.
• the key to ecosavr™ liquid is molecules that are attracted to
water at one end and repelled by water at the other. they also
tangle their side arms together in all directions. this enables a
biodegradable micro thin blanket to cover the surface of your pool.
each molecule tangles with its neighbours, forming a barrier that
slows the evaporation of water molecules.
• evaporation accounts for 80% of swimming pool heat loss. by
creating a transparent pool cover, ecosavr™ increases pool
temperature by allowing sun energy to enter the water. by reducing
evaporation up to 40% the solar energy is trapped, keeping the pool
warmer longer and actually extending your pool season. both water
and heat are conserved.
• ecosavr has been tested and proven to be completely safe for
swimmers and the environment. it complies with the australian
standard AS3633 (1989) - private swimming pools - water quality. it
is non corrosive and non reactive so it does not affect the chemical
balance of the pool, plumbing, filtration or lining.

• unusual shaped pools that are difficult to cover. • where
pool surrounds do not allow the use of a roller. • residential,
school and commercial pools.
• pools where evaporation is a problem.

how many "ecosavrs" are required for your pool ? -
one "ecosvr" will cover an area of approximately 31 to 42 square
meters and will last approximately one month. for larger pools, two
ecosavrs are required.
how long will it take to work ? - the layer on the
surface of the pool takes about 1-2 days to form and is transparent.
what is the main cause of heat loss ? -
evaporation accounts for up to 80% of heat loss.
how much energy savings can we expect from using ecosavr™? -
the average savings the pool owners have experienced is 40%.
does ecosavr™ alter any of the chemicals in our pool? -
no, it does not alter the balance of ph, chlorine, or alkaline in
the water, nor does it affect vinyl liners or any other pool devices
and surfaces.
is it harmful to children or pets? - no, ecosavr™ is
non-toxic and dissipates as soon as it comes in contact with water.
how do I know if it is time to replace ecosavr™? -
ecosavr™ may look flat and will have lost most of its colouration.
what if my ecosavr doesn't sink when I put it in my pool? -
there may be a bit of air in ecosavr™. gently press out the air
until a little of the fluid starts to come out. it should now sink
to the bottom slowly.
"i came across your product at one of my suppliers a
couple years ago. I was sceptical at first but tried the product in
my pool. a few days later my daughter was asking if I'd started
heating the pool. i was sold and have continued to both use and sell
it. thanks for a product that lives up to its claims."
